Okay, so this isn't the first chapter, which I'm sure you are all excited for! But, instead it is an update. Rather than post once a week on Saturday, I think I am going to make it into a biweekly thing instead. I don't want to overwhelm people with too much material, but I think that picking the days would be very important. So this is what the scheduling is going to look like okay?
Friday October 1st: Chapter One
Tuesday October 5th: Chapter Two
Friday October 8th: Chapter Three
Get the idea? It's every single Friday and Tuesday that a new chapter will appear. This idea was mainly created based on a fairly simple principle. The kind of story that Scratch is, is really hard to stick with if it only updates once a week you know? Because it actually jumps around between characters. So one week you'll get really excited while reading about one person, then the next week it ends up being something different, and you have to wait how many weeks in till you continue that story? So I figured, to move things along more smoothly, I am going to be posting the chapters Friday and Tuesday, starting tomorrow.
Don't forget! If you have a goggle account you should follow me! That would be awesome. Also, if you comment on the blog, don't comment spoilers, because that's kind of mean yeah? Or who am I kidding? Am I so bold to say that this story would become popular? Well if you like what you are reading, please tell your friends and tell your friends to tell their friends! Yeah! Power of advertising! Or something.
Oh yes, a second note. I can't reverse the appearance of the blog, so you wont be seeing old posts on top. Unless I can some how figure it out. So just be warned okay? You are supposed to read the story in order you know? It's kind of frustrating if you don't start from the beginning...
Thanks for reading!
Happy Ryan~ (is that really necessary seeing that it says who is posting it?)

Introducing the Concept of this Blog
Scratch The World is a story. It is not an informative piece at all, so you wont be learning anything while reading this blog. Each post will be about seven written pages in length, and each post will continue the story on a weekly basis on the same day. [So the very first chapter will be posted on Saturday] which is the day that I publish each section of this brand new story project! I want people to read it so that's why I made this blog in the first place.
So maybe, I should explain what it is about briefly so people who see this post will read it, and then before getting drawn in and everything [with promises of entertainment and popcorn], will decide whether they will like it or not. Just don't forget: Never judge a book by it's cover. Nor should you judge the story by small errors in grammar and things because I currently don't have a properly working story editing document if that sounds right. Anyway, here is my general synopsis [the story is still in progress so it is subject to change throughout the telling of it].
IF YOU LIKE SURPRISES: Don't Read the Synopsis.
Synopsis: Told through the eyes of many different characters, the original title "Scratch" is a story about how supposedly normal life is slowly changing for a group of people, primarily high school students. The story basically is how each of them contributes to saving the world from a very dark motive of an unknown group. Though rest assured, this isn't your usual "Kids save the world" cliche story! Some themes are very dark, while the focus rests on the characters rather than overemphasizing plot. Truthfully, I don't believe any of the main characters know they are saving the world, or if they even did. Read to find out!
Okay the Synopsis is over.
I hope that was a proper term. Synopsis. I am not very technical if you didn't know. I am making this blog now, what is it, Tuesday? So that I have time to pull together a giant web of ideas for my first session, which I said would be about seven pages in length. Also, this blog [if I can configure it right] will have the oldest posts first. That way you will have to scroll down to see new posts, and those who come upon the blog for the first time can read it from the start, rather than catching a single word or phrase that might stick out like...
"...No! You can't die, ____!"
You get my drift? Well if not, I'll probably be posting updates, such as "I am sorry, I wont be posting this Saturday." Depending on whether or not anyone follows this relatively simple blog. I will definitely be telling people I know about it, and I hope they tell other people, because what's the point of writing it if nobody reads it?
I must say, this style is supposed to be very similar to "Manga" except I suck at drawing. So instead of presenting a weekly comic, it's a weekly story, which keeps evolving yeah? Simple to understand? Please, send me emails for comments. Thanks for reading this little introduction!
-Ryan who is actually very pale, and is probably frowning.
